Corolla Fish Report
HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!! Well, if you thought you would get a report out of me today, you were wrong. The beach is so packed you couldn't get a line in the water without hooking a tourist. It's blazing hot out, and the ocean is clean and clear but flat as a pancake. I do see better conditions for later in the week. The offshore fleet is going well with yellowfin, lots of mahi, and some of these fish are in pretty close as of late. There is also tilefish, sea bass, white marlin, blue marlin, and sailfish, so it does not get much better than that. I should have more in a day or two, as people begin to settle in; it is check-in day, so there are folks everywhere.
