Corolla Fish Report
Fun in the surf. We have a very calm day on the beach today with a flat ocean, very clear water, and a temp of 68 today. Not a lot happening in the surf today, or at least from what I'm hearing from most folks in the shop, but our surf fishing instructor, Brendan, had a class this morning, and they caught all the mullet they wanted, and somehow he managed to get his class's fish even when things were slow. Today's pics were sent in by Brendan, and his group had a blast!! From the surf, we are seeing croaker, spot, and mullet for now. Nearshore boats are getting plenty of spanish, bluefish, sea bass, and some moonfish. Offshore boats are getting yellowfin, mahi galore, tilefish, sea bass, and some billfish.
Charters are booking up at a fast pace now, so don't wait till you get here to book. You can book early and save the headache and get the day and time you want. Call the shop to book, and we have many different trips available. Check out our website.
Send your fish picks to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and have bragging rights for the day! And we thank you.
