Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

The ocean has finally calmed down. The last couple of days we have had a rough ocean with a stiff west wind. Today is looking much better. Today's pick was sent in by John, and he caught some good-sized blues and spanish late Sunday evening on metal lures. The fish were jumping all over the place over the weekend. Things calmed down due to the weather, but we should see some improvement for the rest of the week. The piers today have bluefish, spanish, mullet, and spot. The offshore fleet is getting tuna, tilefish, mahi, and a good amount of billfish caught and released. Our crabbing and shrimp boat this year is doing very well, with really good catches of shrimp with plenty of crabs too. Hopefully, I start to get some beach reports with the weather clearing up, and I will keep you posted.

Charters are available but have been booking up fast this week, so call and book ahead of time to get the day and time you want.

Send your fish pics to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we thank you.
