What a show!! If you were on the island last night we had one heck of a lighting storm. I have seen and been in some big ones in my time but I don't believe I have ever seen anything like this. It felt like stepping onto the red carpet and having all the cameras are going off. The thunder was absolutely deafening. Today we do have some sunshine with a north west wind and 1' to 2' surf. With any luck the drum come out today I thing for some the fishing was slow yesterday but as they say every day can be different. We have seen a mix of fish so far this week with drum, blues, mullet, croaker and flounder and of course we can't leave the sharks out of the picture. The piers had blues and spanish and a king mackerel landed on Jennette's pier yesterday and maybe signs to come you never know. The nearshore boat have spanish, blues and drum on the later trips this week. The offshore fishing is very good with plenty of mahi with some tuna and the billfish are of the hook so plenty of big game out there to tug on. The water temp is 75 today

We do have charters standing by for you!! We have half days to all days and everything in between. Call the shop to book.

Send your fish pics to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and get in our the fish report and we thank you.
