Corolla Fish Report
What's going on? The fishing has not been bad, but today picking up reports that the fish have just stopped biting, so I am not sure what's going on. Today and yesterday, as I am hearing, they aren't eating mullet, shrimp, fishbites, and not even the mighty bloodworm is getting any nibbles. The water is beautiful today it is crystal clear and 77 degrees. So for now, the surf fishing is slow. The piers do have some Spanish, pigfish, and a cobia landed today. For you boaters, the nearshore fleet is doing well with Spanish, blues, moonfish, triggerfish, and amberjacks, so plenty of action going on the short trips. The offshore gang has all the mahi you could ever want, along with white marlin and tilefish. With any luck, things will turn around for the surf fishing. Till then, that's all, folks.
