Corolla Fish Report
It's that time once again. Changeover is here, and we begin another fun-filled week. Last week the fishing was so-so. We did see some nice drum hit the beach, and then we had mostly spot, croaker, and mullet. We are seeing some different sea surface temps along the beach depending on where you are, and the water will be warm or ice cold. There was a good mix of fish on the piers with sheepshead, bluefish, pigfish, pinfish, mullet, and some trout. The nearshore boats are doing well with plenty of bluefish, Spanish and much, much more. The offshore boats have been busy with the white marlin tournament, but there are still open boats ready to take you out. The marlin bite right now is very, very good with both white and blue marlin out there, along with some good grilling mahi. This week the tides start to slide back to a good morning and dusk bite, so with any luck we see a better week this week. I will keep you up to date.
