Corolla Fish Report
We have a nice day, slightly overcast but pleasant. The ocean is so calm today you might think you were at a lake. I did hear some reports today that the fishing has pretty much shut off, and I hear the water temp went up from where it was. Folks are saying it went up 10 to 15 degrees so the cooler water that we had has moved off and it will take a couple of days to rebound which is just in time as I am suppose to hit the beach to wet a line myself tomorrow morning. We have had a lot of mullet, spot, croaker, and blues this week. So the bite shutting down when I get a chance to fish is no surprise, really. The piers were also slow today, and the nearshore boats are finding plenty of Spanish at this time, while offshore has had very good white and blue marlin along with mahi and tilefish. Today's pics were sent in by Devin and company, and they had a great night sharking and caught what looks like eight sharks last night. I posted just a few of them, so well done, guys.
Charters: we have them call the shop to book!!
