Corolla Fish Report

The fishing is heating up!! The last couple of days the fishing has been very good. Lots of spanish are being caught with some bluefish in the mix. Pompano are here as well small one but never the less folks are catching a bunch of them along with croaker, spot, and mullet. Lures for the spanish and bluefish early morning and at dusk and this week the tides are in your favor. For the mid day and afternoon you can throw a bottom rig out there and shrimp and fishbites seem to be doing the trick. I do keep getting asked is there any drum around? I have not heard of any lately being caught but that's not to say there not here. The ocean was very calm today and the drum will typically come out in the rougher surf. Ocean temp today 82 degrees flat and clear water The piers are doing well also with the same fish with some cobia reported. Nearshore boats with lots of good size spanish and blues while offshore has billfish, mahi and tilefish with some blackfin. Everyone one is having fun and it's fish on!!
Charters are open and ready to roll call the shop to book.
