Corolla Fish Report
We have another beautiful, calm day out this morning, and we got our picture problem solved, so I am back in business. The north wind yesterday did, in fact, pay off, as the drum did come out and play, and so did everyone else. Mullet, pompano, and flounder, which does open on the first for one week. The Spanish and bluefish continue to bite mainly on lures early morning and at dusk, so the overall fishing has been good. From the piers, they had Spanish, bluefish, and false albacore. The nearshore fleet had mostly good size Spanish while offshore had loads of mahi with some yellowfin, tilefish, and white and blue marlin, with some sailfish, so a good day offshore.
We are still looking for a person to share an 8 hour tower trip for September 7th, and the cost will be $700 if your interested please call the shop, and we can get you all set up.
