OBX Bait & Tackle Corolla Outer Banks, Corolla Fish Report

Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Good news for anglers today. The surf is a little rough but not too bad, with a northeast wind, and it has brought out the drum to play; we had reports of some good size, 30" plus. Tomorrow, expect more of the same, but the waves ramp up to 3 to 4 feet, so you will have to work a bit harder to get some. The spanish and blues are still on the bite along with croaker, spot, and mullet. So break out the heavier gear for tomorrow, and then I think it will start to calm down, but I will keep you posted. No pier report today. The nearshore fleet had a bunch of spanish while the offshore fleet had blackfin tuna, mahi, and billfish.

Last chance to hop on that 8 hr trip to the towers for tomorrow; call the shop if you want to go.

Charters are available; call the shop to book

Send in those fish pics to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com, and we thank you.
