Corolla Fish Report

Well, we have one beautiful day today. The ocean has calmed down somewhat, as there are still yellow flag warnings out. We have one- to two-foot waves, so at worst you will need a little extra weight to hold for today. Over the last three days, the drum fishing has been very good; not many or any keepers, as they were well over slot, but good fishing. The rest of the week should be good, but the drum may not bite; we'll see. The bluefish and Spanish continue to bite for your amusement, and I am sure the small pompano, croaker, and mullet will be out there. Nice looking water today with a temp of 80 degrees. The offshore action yesterday was very good if you wanted sailfish and marlin, as they were everywhere, along with some yellowfin and mahi. The piers today had bluefish and spanish.
Just for everyone's information, we are moving into our fall hours. We will now be open from 8 am to 4 pm as we both need some rest from a very busy season.
Charters are open and ready for your call to book yours today or perhaps tomorrow.
Send your fish pics to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com, and we thank you.
