Corolla Fish Report
Good news for those coming in tomorrow: we have fresh mullet, so get it while you can!! Today's pick was sent in by our captain, Marcus. He was out again last night, and this one struck just about midnight, and it is a beauty. So while I am talking about Captain Marcus, he is doing a special drum charter trip, and it's an evening trip from 5 pm to 10 pm for 650.00 and up to six anglers. He has done these trips before and has real good luck doing them, so if you're interested in a different kind of trip, give us a call, and we can get you all set up. As for the surf, you already know we have drum along with spanish, bluefish, croaker, mullet, spot, and the flounder are still here even though they are out of season. The water today is nice and calm and clear, with a temp of 78 degrees. Spanish, bluefish, and pompano from the piers. The nearshore fleet has bluefish, spanish and king mackerel. The offshore fleet knocked it out of the park yesterday. The billfish bite was incredible, with white and bluemarlin with sailfish all over the place. Boats came in with so many flags flying that they didn't have much more room for any more flags to hang from the outriggers. They also caught some nice mahi for dinner as well.
