It's Crazy in Corolla !!! Late report today but as they say better late than never. Loads of mullet being caught just about everywhere along with a good Spanish and bluefish bite usually in the morning and later in the afternoon. There are fish jumping all over the place, we have seen some pompano, croaker and flounder as well. Big tip people keep your cast on the short side the fish are in close I am still seeing people wading way out and trying to go as far as possible. You don't need to cast to the moon just keep it nice and easy. Tip #2 There are a lot of folks using metal lures which is fine but use a steel leader this will protect your lure from getting bit off. We are just about out of any lure right now just because of that reason. Now I'm not saying I don't want to sell out on lures but most people coming back in for handfuls are saying they just aren't tying a good knot which is possible but try the leader. Offshore had a good day yesterday with some big eye, yellowfin, blackfin, wahoo, mahi, and tilefish. We will get back to a full report tomorrow.
