Corolla Fish Report
Well a little relief from that hot weather. We have cloudy conditions today and 1 foot surf with the water starting at 61 this morning and we came up a tic to 64 this afternoon. Some folks said they had a good bluefish bite late yesterday on spoons and mullet, croaker, spot and flounder were also out. There has been a good mullet bite at times and the Spanish I'm not hearing about but they are out there, just being shy this week. Look for a wind change tomorrow from the north east so we will see a bigger swell for tomorrow, around 2 to 3 feet. The piers are seeing sea robins, mullet, spot, flounder, croaker, perch, seabass. Nearshore boats not doing bad as you can see above our 26 foot boat with captain Clay on the Sandy Anna was out and found some nice drum, Spanish, blues and seabass and there are ribbonfish around too. Offshore stayed tied up from the wind.
