Congratulations to 7 year old Parker who tried his hand at surf fishing this weekend is having a blast. He was catching plenty of mullet and bluefish all day long, it's just that easy folks and if Parker can do it , so should you um pro's be able to catch fish. So Great job Parker!!!Should be another good day to be on the beach fishing. The waves at 1 foot and 72 degree water should make for a good day. We are seeing plenty of spot, flounder, mullet, croaker, shark, bluefish and we have seen a few needlefish. The piers are seeing some puppy drum, blue's, croaker, puffers and pigfish and I wouldn't be surprised to see some small drum around here as well. The nearshore boats finding plenty of ribbonfish, false albacore, Spanish and some triggerfish. On the sound side they have a whole lot of trout and drum. Offshore had a good day with plenty of blackfin, yellowfin, wahoo, limits of mahi and some blue marlin.

Remember to send your phots to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we will post them in the fish report. We do still have a few openings for charters and our shrimp trips as well. Give us a call !!
