Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers

Good Morning Corolla what a great day for some surf fishing the wind is low the water is 70 degrees and the waves are flat and the water should be clear. We are having a great bite on Bluefish and people are having a blast with them many with a hook up on every cast. We also have Mullet, Kingfish and some Flounder. An angler came in yesterday to identify a fish he had caught and it turned out to be a Southern Stargazer and if the uglier the fish is the better tasting then this fish must be delicious but be careful this fish if touched in the wrong spot can discharge a powerful electric charge. The Piers have Mullet, Bluefish and Perch pretty much across the board Inshore has limits of Trout, Tilefish and some Cobia. Nearshore had Spanish, Amberjack and Sea Bass. The Offshore action off running again with some BIG nice Yellowfin up to 86 #'s and the billfish are plentiful as well and one charter getting a grand slam yesterday!!

OBX Bait and Tackle has some great charters available give us a call and will get you out there fishing the weather has been stellar and the fishing as well if you have never been on a offshore fishing trip then you are missing out on some great excitement.

Thank You and will see you out here.
