Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Well the fishing is pretty good in Corolla!!  The water is warm around 80 with 2 to 3 foot waves. The fishing is good along the coast right now and the water is cleaning up. We are seeing some decent size puppy drum around 18 inch for most of them and I know there is a big one waiting out there. There is a good croaker bite with speckled trout, bluefish, flounder, black drum, mullet, puffers and some Spanish. We are seeing the same on the piers with Jennette's hitting a big red this morning. All in all the fishing is very good and it would be a good idea to fish a light pole with a heavy rod a s well. The nearshore boats having a good time too!! they have caught ribbonfish, drum with a strong bite of Spanish and bluefish. On the inside more yes I said it more drum with grey trout and plenty of them. The offshore fishing is also strong with limits of mahi, blackfin tuna coming to the rail with tilefish and a bunch of citation blue marlin, white marlin and sailfish just to sweeten the pot.

We do have some openings in our charter fleet just give us a call. Don't forget there is still some good shrimping action along with blue crab trips you can take advantage of right now. Captains standing by.
Also if you have some pictures of your catch send them to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we will post you on the fish report!! Thanks everyone.
