Corolla Fish Report
Hard fishing but they are out there. There is a strong currant out there so heavy weight is required and it makes a little tougher to fish. Reports of some seagrass as well due to the currant and this will more than likely stay around till the hurricane goes farther out to sea. We do have reports of puppy drum, pompano, trout, mullet, croaker. The waves around 3 feet with a temp of 75 degrees. Fish bites still are the king of baits right now despite the fresh mullet and shrimp. The piers have Spanish, blues, flounder, pigs and pins. Nearshore boats doing well with drum, Spanish, nice size bluefish are coming in and an abundance of trout is there as well. Offshore had an ass kicking dat yesterday. The fleet brought back yellow and blackfin, limits of mahi, wahoo, white and blue marlin and a 201# big eye and sailfish. The bill fish bite was very good!!
