Corolla Fish Report
The weather is nice , but the fishing is slow. The last three days has been slow along the beaches with a few bluefish, spot and mullet. The conditions don't look bad but the one big problem is the currant. It's taking at least 6oz weights to hold the bottom. As soon as Jerry pushes farther off to sea we should see some calming. The weather will be nice and with any luck the fishing will pick up as well. The piers are slow this morning so far. The nearshore boats bring back blues and Spanish. The offshore fleet doing just fine with limits of mahi, yellow and blackfin tuna, wahoo and there is good fishing on the billfish. The water is 72 with 3 to 4 foot waves today and a moderate rip currant.
