Rough and tough is the word today. Lot's of heavy lead going out due to the strong currant that just doesn't want to go away. There have been puppy drum, black drum, croaker, mullet and spot being caught. The surf is rough today with 4 foot waves along with that currant with a 72 degree water. The piers do have a good mix of fish with 2 big reds caught down at OBX pier. The nearshore boats have trout and striper as well as the little bridge. As far as offshore goes the fishing has been really good except for wind has kept everyone tied up for now.
