What a fantastic day it was yesterday, but a bit drizzly this morning. If you weren't on the beach yesterday you missed a good one. We had 70 degree water with 2 foot waves and clean water. I got out of here about three in the afternoon and got about an hour and a half of fishing in. The fish were biting and pulled in a black drum, puppy drum, mullet, pompano, pinfish and a blue. Another local just up from me caught some nice size blues and spackled trout along with some other fish. So we have a good mix of fish along the beach and felt good to get my toes in the sand. The piers with a good mix with 1 big red this morning at Jennette's this morning with big bluefish and trout. The nearshore boats found plenty of trout with some blues. The offshore boys came back with good size mahi, wahoo and tuna for the table. We do have some rain in the mix today but there are a few out this morning giving it a try, and we may see some heaver showers pop up and a moderate rip current. A 3 oz. weight was able to hold bottom and the fish were pretty much eating anything you threw at them for bait. Be safe out there we will catch you tomorrow
