Finally we are released from our shackles and the next day we get tropical storm Arthur, to force us back inside. Sometimes you just can't get a brake. Yesterday we had some folks out bass fishing and as you can see they are having a good time, the bass are hungry. I did not here anything from off the beach yesterday, so not much to go on up here. We did reopen yesterday and the people that came in to help support the shop did so and we do appreciate you all coming in. Most everyone respected the conditions we have to face and wore there mask. The weird thing is you just don't really know who's who, but that didn't stop the joking around we do in here. We do thank you all.
The surf fishing report is scarce with most of the action way to the south, but with any luck maybe this storm will push that warmer water up are way. our nearshore boats did well yesterday starting with captain James on the Hittman nailed these 3 cobia, so a very happy group. Another captain chimed in and found a load of Spanish mackerel so the fishing close by is improving everyday. The trout fishing continues to be very good also on the inside. The all day boats did fill the coolers up with yellowfin, blackfin, mahi and a couple of big eye's were brought back as well. The water today at 60, so after these next three day's of rain maybe we can get things fired up, we will keep you posted.
