Corolla Fish Report
Cloudy today with some rain, but it has been hot out. First we want to thank and congratulate 17 year old Evan Burek from Pennsylvania on his black drum catch around the Pine Island area using squid and shrimp. Nice catch Evan!! Ok short and sweet today, In my opinion it is still slow along our beaches, there has been puppy drum, mullet, trout and of coarse black drum and it has been improving. The pier are holding puppy drum and mullet on them. The little bridge has trout and black drum on it this morning. The nearshore boats had limits on the drum fishing and trout both on spinning and fly fishing. The offshore boats have turned back on with yellowfin, mahi and wahoo!!
