What a week in Corolla!! Let's start the day with young Roosevelt catching his first drum and a big catfish and he is only 5 years old and he did a great job to my understanding. If this youngster can do it I think the rest of you can do it also, he's going to be a great fisherman. This week started out with a big bang despite the wind earlier in the week. There were a lot of drum caught. The last couple of day's we have seen our share of big ray's and a lot of skate and this maybe due to the flat ocean we have had the last couple of day's. The surf looks to be flat for at least today and tomorrow. Hopefully we see some good activity. We have seen some decent size bluefish hit this week and some good size mullet with a few trout and decent sharks caught. Now we wait as this is change over day and we get a new group of fishermen in and will see how they do. The nearshore boats have been busy with Spanish, bluefish lot's of trout on the inside. Good cobia fishing on the outside this week and drum along with a showing of king mackerel. The offshore fleet has been knocking it out of the park with good numbers of yellowfin, some blackfin, mahi, big eye's and wahoo when they want to play along with some marlin.

We have charters open this week give us a call or check us out at obxbaitandtackle.com
