Good day everyone. As we enter a new week we are yet to get any reports off the beach as of yet. folks are gearing up and on the way to the beach. We still have a flat ocean and I actually would like the waves to pics up a touch which I thing will pick the fishing up. The good news the water temp came back up to 63 and we did have a report of bluefish hitting swim baits just before dark last night. With any luck the drum will still be around. You will still see the mullet, croaker and pinfish along with skate and ray's. The piers this morning starting with Avalon has mullet, spot and puffers. OBX pier this morning down at MP 18.5 has puppy drum on it with one in the slot. Mullet, trout and bluefish are there to. The nearshore boats doing well with a good cobia fishing. There are red drum around with Spanish, bluefish and some big trout with one hitting the scale at 6.5#s. The offshore boats doing great to with plenty of yellowfin a generous amount of mahi and citation size big eye's. Web will keep you updated and FISH ON !!
