Beginners luck maybe, but young Maximus from Elkton Maryland certainly showed what he was made of. His first charter trip and went out and caught a load of Spanish and shows off his king mackerel, great job Maximus!! Well the rain is coming down this morning and the water temp along the beach this week has been like a yo yo. Despite that there has been some decent fishing along the beach with decent size mullet, puppy drum, bluefish, pompano and just some trout. The reel news up here is all the drum on the sound side, so those of you that are coming in next week and have a house on the sound side the fishing is very good. We had several groups rent a pontoon boats and just killed the drum out out there with some just under size but many in the slot and had a great time. There's a good bite at Avalon pier this morning with  drum and mullet. The nearshore boats are chasing the cobia and Spanish and trout and drum on the inside. The wind was wiping for the offshore fleet but the tuna were still biting. One of our boats the Carolina Girl caught some beauties' and lost 13 to the sharks but still brought in a hefty amount of tuna. There's yellowfin, mahi and big eye's out there up to 215#s so come and get them.

Thanks for the pictures we do appriciate them. As a note our charters have been filling up for the last two weeks so if your thinking of a trip book it early so you get the time and day that you want. The shop is open 8 to 6 pm seven days a week.
