Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Cloudy and a little on the windy side today. I have not heard much off the beach with the new set of anglers this week. The good news is we have 70 degree water for two day's now. The bad news north west wind is going to blow all week. There is a rip current out there so holding bottom will be somewhat challenging this week, so break out the big weights. Hopefully the puppy drum will stick around but we should start to see other fish move in. The piers had mullet and spot on them this morning. The nearshore boats had Spanish, bluefish and the ribbonfish have come in. On the inside trout, ribbon and blues. The offshore fleet just as strong as ever with the tuna plenty of yellowfin, mahi and some big, big eye's. We will see you tomorrow.

On the other side of things we are making it mandatory to wear a face mask in the store. We have many customers that are thanking us for doing that. Then there are a few with the attitude that they don't have to, and there right, outside the store and that's what you will be asked to do if you don't have one on. Sorry for the small inconvenience but that's just the way it's going to be. The virus is increasing in North Carolina and the amount of people not keeping there distance is appalling. Things are different out here but just because you are on vacation doesn't mean everything is normal. Just try to be good humans isn't that hard to do!!
