Another nice day out. We had reported this morning of some nice 8-foot sharks being caught last night. There is plenty of croaker, mullet, and spot out there and maybe some puppies, spanish and blues. Some anglers are definitely in the right spot and seeing some good fishing other getting just spot and croaker. All in all, folks are catching fish!! The piers have mullet, spot, and sheepshead. The nearshore fleet finding plenty of ribbonfish along with spanish and albacore. The drum and trout still on the inside. The offshore fleet is very busy with a couple of tournaments going on and they are catching plenty of marlin. If you not in the tourney there is still fish for you with mahi some tuna and tilefish by the truckload.

We did fill out our charters this week so if you are coming up in the near future plan ahead and book early so that you get your spot and time we have the cheapest deposit rates on the island. Call 252-453-3339

FYI are supplies are drying up fast we have very limited supplies right now and from what I am told we won't see a delivery truck till the end of August so we will run out of sand spikes which is a must on the beach. Most people have a garage full of these but forget them when there packing, DON"T forget them bring them!! We are managing to keep up with most basics but for the next couple of weeks, that's what you going to have to fish with. We are trying to find other suppliers but the shipping time is ridiculous. Just some food for thought for those coming in the rest of this month.
