Well,  our on-site reporter Matt up on the 4x4 beach sent in a report this morning. The waves are at 1 foot with the calm wind and 72 degree water this morning. Matt says the fishing hs slowed with the calm seas which is usually the case, the fish like some wave action. He did pull in a couple of hound fish on cut spot. Spot, flounder, mullet, and small pompano seems to whats hitting with an occasional bluefish and drum. The piers croaker, blues, flounder, spot, and drum on Avalon. The nearshore boats have ribbonfish and albacore and some went out a little further and bottom fished for tilefish. The drum and trout are on the inside. The offshore fishing saw the return of some great mahi action along with billfish, tilefish, and some wahoo.

Great time for charter fishing or shrimping right now give us a call at 252-453-3339 and send those potos to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com
