We have a beautiful morning out today with some cooler temps and a north wind but conditions look pretty good. Matt sent in a report this morning from the 4x4 beach and he is back on the fish with a double puppy drum strike and he said they are active this morning which is good news. Now I have had quite a few folks in here that are not catching anything yet this man continues to pull in fish every day. This tells me some of you are doing something wrong a bet!!  Look for more of the same today with mullet, croakers, spot definitely puppy drum and maybe a bluefish and some flounder. By the way, Matt is using fish bites!! I think we will see the fishing pick up today with the wind change, fingers crossed.
The piers today have puppy drum, croakers, bluefish, and flounder. The nearshore fleet had a decent day with albacore, triggers, seabass, ribbonfish, and spanish with the drum and trout remain to the inside. The offshore boys out there doing their thing and putting a bunch of flags flying high with blue and white marlin and sailfish were abundant. On the slower side, some boats did find some yellowfin, mahi, and tilefish.

Waves today at 2' and the temp is 73!!

We do have open spots for charterers and the shrimping trips call us at 252-453-3339 and we will get you all hooked up!!
