Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Congratulations to Matthew and Bernice on her first fish from Richmond VA. So keep up the good work Bernice. We are getting all kinds of reports today from just about everyone. Bloodworms, fish bites, and shrimp is the hot ticket. Folks are catching a good amount of some nice size spot, mullet, kingfish, and quite a few puppy drum and small pompano. We also have reports of some big reds over in the sound and I believe on shrimp as well. Everyone I have talked to this morning is pulling out fish on a regular basis and having a blast. There have been some good shark catches and some big rays. The pier today starting with Avalon has a big spanish bite going on and with any luck maybe they will start to make a showing here because we just have not seen it happen all summer yet so we are overdue for there appearance. The nearshore boats also getting into the spanish also wich has been quite for the summer as well along with big drum, albacore, cobia, and a ton of ribbons. Offshore is what it is black and yellowfin with mahi and wahoo coming to the rail not to mention your choice of billfish that you may want, so great action in the gulf.
We have a lot of pictures that just came in and I will share those tomorrow. We also have spots open on our charters and shrimp trips just give us a call 252-453-3339

Send your pictures in for the daily fish report to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com   and we thank you!!
