Corolla Fish Report
Good day everyone sorry I missed you yesterday but we just got swamped in the shop. You really did not miss anything yesterday. People finally got a chance to at least try and get a line out and even more today. I have not heard of anything off the beach but today might just be worth a try. The piers are reporting puppy drum and we did have a good drum bite going one before the nasty weather. So I am hoping for somewhat of a rebound today. The ocean is still choppy with a decent swell coming in and will decrease tomorrow. The rip current will remain with us this week. Water temp at 70 this morning so good luck and let us know what your catching or send a photo to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we will post you in the next report.
On a sour note, I eluded the other day of a confrontation in the shop. We had a guy charge in the store and was stopped for not wearing a mask and he just ignored the help, was asked a second time with the same response. We tried to get his attention 5 times before I approached this guy. He then told me to get the F out of his way, then physically pushed me aside. That's when I told him to leave, but no, now he wants to argue. He finally left then returned for a second time to kick things off again. The police were called in twice and should have arrested him for trespassing but didn't. Now you would think that would be the end of it, nope. Now, this guy has attacked our Google reviews and Facebook with fictitious names and accounts. You can read these and come to your own conclusions. This guy is really a piece of work. They are even flying a banner on the 4x4 beach warning people not to come here. Which in reality has turned out to be free advertising as we have customers coming in reacting to the posts and the sign and have stated the guy is obviously a wack job and that's why they're here. To support us. You can tell this guy is off his rocker and to spend this amount of time when you're on vacation is ridiculous. This all because of a mask. I am asking for a little help. So, if you feel we deserve it and you have time, please go to Goggle and Facebook and just give us a positive review and help bury these nasty posts to the bottom where they belong.
