Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

May it continue. We have the calmest conditions that we have had all week. Let's hope the drum continue to bite today. Congratulations go out to the Hart Family and some young first-time anglers which caught there first drum and what a beautiful fish it is. Thanks for coming in and sharing the picture it's a great family shot. The fishing was just plain good yesterday with a big mix of fish. Some absolutely huge mullet were caught and some big trout. There were black drum, pompano, and southern kings. We will have to see what today brings us. The piers have puppies, black drum, trout, spot, and pompano. There were some boats out yesterday nearshore and they brought back false albacore spanish and bluefish. Bayside trout mullet and stripers. Offshore people made it out as well and had limits of mahi, a few yellowfin and there were white and blue marlin hooked also.

My Bait gut is out looking for the fresh finger mullet and has not found any yet, but hopefully he will today and bring some in

Send those pictures into obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com   We will keep you up to date and thank you
