Corolla to Nags Head Sound

October 2nd and a windy one today. Water temp at 72 this morning and we have some shout outs to get to. I refer to him as the King and he caught a 34-inch drum I think last month when they were in town. Well there back this week and his friend David from Lancaster PA, got skunked till yesterday and he got his first drum and came in at 23 1/2 inches, so great job David. Gregory and Nick that I mentioned yesterday fishing the sound side forgot to send the photo in with the report but he sent it in last night and they got a couple of nice ones. Then we have a Neal from Elizabethtown PA out shark fishing and sent in some great photos and he measured 7 feet in length and I believe it is a sand tiger shark. So this group is defiantly having some fun on the beach. Thanks, Neal and to everyone else that sent in your photos, I really needed some.
Overall this week there has been very good drum fishing with most in the range of 15 to 25 inches along with mullet, croakers, trout, rays, and sharks for the most. There might be a bluefish here and there.

The charters have slowed down a touch but there is still some good fishing to be had out there whether its nearshore, inshore, or an offshore trip. We can get you all set up just give us a call at 252-453-3339

Got some photos to share send them to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com with your name and where your from and we will post them in the fish report, and we thank you, have a great day everyone.
