Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

The fishing did improve a little. The water temp is holding at 55 and the surf is up around 3 to 4 feet. We will see the waves begin to calm down Saturday afternoon through Wednesday. There was some improvement yesterday along the surf and it should improve a little more each day. We should be seeing mullet, trout, and even some puppy drum. There was a 25" caught along the north beach yesterday. The piers have shad, skate, puffers, and mullet on them and I would say we will see much of the same in this area as well. The nearshore boats were out and found some puppy drum a few citation size around the inlet along with some trout. Offshore was on the water and several boats did very well and others not so much but they all did bring home some table fare. The yellowfin are there and reports of some decent wahoo too boot. A slight chance of some scattered showers is possible but nothing to really worried about.

Got a photo of your catch send it into us at obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we will post you proudly on our daily fish report. It doesn't matter how big or small your catch is just include your name and where your from and we will do the rest and we thank you and will keep you updated to what's going on in Corolla.
