Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Another nice day on the outer banks this morning. Sorry, I missed putting out a report yesterday but reports are very hard to come by on Sundays. The water temp is holding at 57 for at least along our beaches. There is some dogfish along the beach and at Jennette's pier this morning and some puppy drum I heard of down near the Duck research pier and looking at the webcams there are some nice hols I can see there. We should be seeing mullet and possibly some drum up here along with puffers and blow toads and maybe a trout. Down at the point, there were some large drum come in over the weekend. The little bridge is reporting some keeper speckled trout and these fish typically will hit early morning and in the evening before dark. The nearshore boats are dealing with some cooler water temps lately making the fishing a little on the slow side. They did find some dogfish and seabass and there were a few drum around the inlet with catfish up on the inside. The offshore fleet had a great weekend with most boats getting limits of yellowfin there was also blackfin a 74# wahoo and there were a few mahi and 1 blue marlin released so the offshore is going to be hot this season.

We have charters available from 1/2 day to all day just give us a call and we will get you all setup and book early if you can spots are going to fill up fast.
