Where oh where to begin! I am telling you this year is tuff finding reports. It was pretty windy this morning but it feels like it has claimed down a touch. It's going to be somewhat rough out today and tomorrow but the rest of the week is looking good so far. The water temp is still at 54 and let's face it the fishing is going to be on the slow side however it is better than being at work! I have not heard anything off of the beach since Beth hit that drum from the beach a couple of days ago. We should at least have mullet and croaker out there, a drum, bluefish, or trout is a bonus. The piers are showing that it is slow as well with mullet and small trout. South of the bridge and all the way down to the point in Hatteras is where you will find the big drum right now if you're looking for these guys. Until we see a better water temp up here I don't believe we will see the fish come in up here, but we aren't too far away. The little bridge can also be a good spot to try in Nags Head they have had some good bits there, nothing consistent but when it goes off it's usually pretty good. No boat reports today offshore inshore there has been drum and trout and catfish up in the bay. We will keep you up to date as we hear things.
