Well, the fishing looks pretty good this morning! George Laraia scores himself a whopper of a black drum that was just sent in this morning and caught right by the shop in Corolla, well done George. Chris and company are out there catching their share of a good mullet bite and the kids look like they are having a blast, thanks, Chris. Terry set in a pic from his first puppy drum caught on sand flea and fish gum it was a 1/2" inch short at 17 1/2" and set it free but still nice job Terry I'm sure the next one will be bigger!! Congratulations to everyone !!
Well, that kind of sums it all up we are seeing the fishing pick back up this morning, and the water temp popped back up to 63 this morning after a big cool down from 68. The conditions do look good and take advantage of it because we do have some rain coming. What you could catch drum, black drum, Spanish, trout, mullet, and we have seen a few flounder and croaker around.
Nearshore boats had a good day and they caught a fair share of cobia along with Spanish and blues. On the inside drum and trout. The offshore boats did well also with limits of dolphin and some big yellowfin and bigeye tuna and I think the biggest was around 150#s and there were four or five blue marlin caught the biggest at 500 #s. The king mackerel are still chewing and the bottom fishing for blue tiles and seabass is very good. The shares have been somewhat of a problem.

Charters are available give us a call and book ahead if possible!!
