Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

It was a good day yesterday, with plenty of sunshine and a good mix of fish. There seemed to be a good drum run early in the morning with some over the slot and most in the slot. The trout were out there but seemed to be throwbacks. Decent size bluefish hit the beach and a bunch of mullet. There was also some large black drum caught so a good day for most. Shrimp I heard from more than one fisherman was the bait to have they didn't seem to want anything else and the black drum were on sand fleas. Other than some scattered showers today it should be a good day along the beach.
The piers are seeing bluefish, flounder, and Spanish this morning so some fun to be had on the piers. They have seen some good days recently. The nearshore boaters are finding the spanish and bluefish and don't think they aren't keeping their eyes open for the cobia. Offshore boats doing well with yellowfin, blackfin, big eye, billfish and mahi. The bottom fishing remains good for the tiles and sea bass.

Thinking of a charter all I can say is book early June and July are booking up fast. Just call and see what we have available.

Send those photos to us at obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we will feature you in the daily fish report!!
