Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Another fine day out this morning. The fishing has picked up along the beach as Andrew Shambach from Reading PA, can testify to with a nice catch of mullet and a flounder which he did release because they are still out of season. There was a real good mullet bite and some larger bluefish were caught which is good news. The water temp is at 63 and seems to creep up slightly in the afternoon. The water is clear and we should see the fishing continue to be fairly decent. A little slow on the piers with some bluefish this morning. The nearshore boats have some good trout fishing and drum on the inside going on while bluefish and Spanish with a chance for cobia are on the outside. The offshore action has been decent not all the boats are getting some strikes but the majority of them are with some big big eye, yellowfin, blackfin, mahi, bonita. The bottom fishing remains good with tilefish and sea bass.

Charters are going strong but plan on booking early as you can as we are filling up.

Send your photo in and we will post you proudly in the fish report and thanks to all that do obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com
