Back at it. Sorry I have not got any reports out lately just have been too busy at the shop to get it done. It has been rough this week weather-wise but it does seem to be calming down somewhat. I have not heard much off of the beach but the word is someone had a nice drum and there was some larger bluefish caught. Some folks on the sound side have had some luck with a mix of fish from drum, catfish, and assorted other goodies. Each day can bring something new and we have also seen some good size mullet. The water today coming in at 68 and I am running somewhat blind as to I can't get the surf info up on the computer but I will try to get that up and running soon.
We do want to welcome Virginia Dare a new boat to our charter fleet and it has taken a while to rebuild but she is up and running now and looks fantastic and with all the bookings coming in it will be a welcomed addition to the family.
The piers this morning have bluefish, black drum, Spanish mackerel, and a small tarpon. There were some boats that were out yesterday and the inshore boats had a good trout bite with drum on the line as well. The big boats did bring in tuna, mahi, and king mackerel despite the bumpy ride but plenty of meat for the BBQ!!

Charters defiantly call and book as early as possible a lot of people are waiting till the last minute and that's just too late. My web page is not completely up to date and we offer a bunch of different trips so just give us a call and we will get you all set up. Starting soon in July the shrimping and crab trips will start. We have crab and fishing inshore only right here in Corolla and we offer twilight trips from 5 to 8 pm for fishing or pleasure and these trips are out of the main marinas. Whatever you're looking for we will try to make it happen.

Questions and photos you can send  to obxbaitandtackle@Yahoo.com  and we thank you
