Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Coldwater in Corolla is what we have coming in at 64 this morning so we will see what if anything how it affects the fishing this week. Surf fishing has been on the slow side but there are mullet, croaker, shark, spot, and bluefish. A shout out to Brandon Burrell for his 6-foot sand tiger caught at mile marker 20  on squid up in Carova beach so congratulations go to him today so nice job Brandon and thanks for the pic I wasn't able to post yesterday due to the fack I was sitting in the dentist chair from a broken tooth but all is good. Along the surf, we may see puppy drum, mullet, croaker, spot, bluefish, and the trout have been on the shy side of things. The piers have been a little up and down as we are but you will see some good days on them. The nearshore boats were out despite the wind the last couple of days and have had good luck with Spanish, bluefish, king mackerel, and albacore in some cases. On the bayside puppy drum and trout fishing have been good. Just a few boats made it out with windy conditions but were rewarded with yellowfin between 70 and 85 pounds, mahi, wahoo, and blue marlin. The bottom fishing is still very good with large tilefish and seabass.

Charters are available but limited so reserve a spot today if you plan on going out.
