Sunshine Friday! That's about all we have today sunshine. Big waves along the coast today and they will begin to die down starting tomorrow and it will be calm for the next week. Windy today out of the north 10 to 15 mph with big waves will keep most fishermen out of the water but if you can get a line out there maybe drum to be had. Very quiet in the shop today with the conditions out and most people will be getting ready to check out tomorrow anyway. For the people coming in this next week, it should be a good week for you. I do see some windy days earlier in the week coming from the southwest but it should be fishable. We have a good load of bloodworms this week for you and all the other baits. We are low on some gear and tackle but we should be ok for the new arrivals. The water temp is holding at 75 today.

The charter fleet would be ready to go for next week so if you are interested give us a call and we will get you all set up the fishing offshore is still very good. Shrimp and crabbing trips are still running and the big shrimp are here so another great way to spend the day on the water and get yourself some good eats!!

Send your photos and questions to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.come and have yourself a great day!!
