Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Monsters caught in Corolla !! Bryan Wedel landed these last night proving there are monsters in the surf at night. We have had quite a few reports of big drum being caught despite the conditions and I would be on the look out for more in the next couple of days as the wind will shift to the north. Thanks for sending in the pics Bryan and well done.
In the surf we also have lots of black drum running about 10" to 12" with small pompano. Mullet, croakers and spot and pinfish are there too with some remoras getting hooked we had some folks come in and ask what type of fish they were. We have flat ocean conditions this morning with a water temp of 73. The piers have spanish, bluefish and pinfish this morning. Nearshore boats having a good day with spanish, blues, albacore, ribbonfish and king mackerel. On the bayside trout and striper is what's for dinner. Offshore brought home big eye tuna, yellowfin, blackfin, mahi and a few white marlin caught and released.

Charters are available call for availability.
