OBX Bait & Tackle Corolla Outer Banks, Corolla Fish Report
Tuesday, October 12, 2021
Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Well, the fishing has been tough. We do expect the weather to begin to clear for the rest of the week. We have had big waves and the water at high tide has been up to the dunes making it hard to fish. The current has been very tough as well and it is hard to hold bottom we also hope that this lets up so we can get back to fishing. Along the beach up here we just have not had any reports due to the weather but we hope to. Jennette's pier reporting large drum this morning along with mullet, spot, and black drum and is also a great way to use the current to your advantage by fishing the piers. Striper and trout on the bayside and really no one has been out boating the last few days due to the weather. The boats should have some better weather days for the rest of the week so we hope to be able to bring you some news shortly.

We do have charter openings call for details.

Send your photos to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com  And we thank you.
