Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Taco Tuesday !! It has been some tuff fishing for the last few days with absolutely nothing to report but that all seemed to change yesterday afternoon. The water cleaned up so it's nice and clear with a water temp of 61 this morning. Jack was in this morning and shared his picture of his 25 1/2 inch drum that he landed yesterday up on the 4x4 beach he had his line in the water while the rest of the fishermen were drinking beer by the pool and he brought dinner home, needless to say, there were a few jaws hanging open he also had some small bluefish. I was supposed to have another picture sent in but I don't see it this morning of a nice striper landed as well. There were also mullets and a few skate caught. I would expect to see more of the same today and there are birds working some bait balls out there. Also, reports of some good action in Kitty Hawk and Nags Head of some nice keeper drum and the nearshore boats pulling in some big ones yesterday, and Captain Marcus of the Virginia Dare sent in a pic of one of his catches, so the fishing did do a complete turnaround and came alive let's just hope it continues. Offshore boats brought back blackfin, mahi, and king mackerel.
