Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Bright and sunny this morning after that thunder storm yesterday afternoon. Now to whats happening along the beach. We have some tuff conditions I am hearing with a strong current and a ton of sea grass loading up the lines making it very hard to catch fish. I did hear about a large bluefish and drum coming in and some mullet but the grass is the main problem. One angler landed a nice rod and reel this morning so you never know what your going to catch. The piers have seabss, mullet, spot and croaker on them. Nearshore boats finding drum and trout along with Spanish and bluefish, sea bass. Offshore boats getting tons of mahi with yellowfin and blackfin.

FYI on the beach parking permits for the 4x4 area. You need to purchase your permit in advance on line and there is a limit to 300 permits a week. In some cases if you have not planned ahead you will not be able to get one. Example last I checked there were only a few left for 4 th of July week so just plan ahead and get your permit now if you plan on fishing or hanging out on that beach.
