If there were a King for a day he would look like this man Kenny Calloway from Laurel Delaware landed this 25-inch black drum and if that wasn't enough he went back out and landed a keeper drum on shrimp proving once and for all there are some fish out there. Outstanding job Kenny keep it up!!
This week has been rough on anglers with a strong current and a lot of seagrass loading up your line it is frustrating. The last I heard it seems to be getting better. The waves are at two feet and the water temp is 65 today so we are sitting pretty good right now for the fishing to pick up. Kenny has already proved that there are drum out there. I did hear of some other keeper drum and a few mullet hitting the beach. You might also find some small bluefish and possibly some larger ones have been reported but they tend to hit and run really quickly so you just have to be in the right place at the right time. There is a lot of trout to the south we just need them to come up here. The piers are seeing trout and blues with some drum as well. That's about all we have for today we will keep you up to speed as the week continues.

Want to be a king for a day you can send your photos to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com it doesn't matter how big or small your catch is it's all about having fun and we thank you.
