Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Catch up Thursday. I missed you all yesterday I was out so let's get everyone caught up. Matt and friends started catching some drum again as things had slowed up but we are seeing some quality fish come in locally here. Black drum, puppy drum, croakers, mullet with an occasional blue, and of course skate has been an issue of late. A big shout out to one of our boats the Virginia Dare with Captain Marcus just finished up a three-day cobia tournament and came in 9th place not too shabby so congratulations to Marcus which you folks can charter and the cobia fishing has been very good of late along with a Spanish bite. Also, one of our flagships the Little Shell has been on fire as well and the offshore action has been very good as they are hitting the tuna big time and the billfish are coming in as well. This boat is also on Wicked Tuna and available for all-day trips so go fish with the big boys for a day that you won't soon forget!!

As far as surf fishing goes down at Oregon inlet has been seeing some stellar fishing along with the little bridge in Nags Head I know you would have to drive down there but the payoff could be worth it. Big drum, really big mullet, and trout. The sound side is beginning to heat up as our captain that runs out of Corolla called in and said he is seeing drum move up with black drum, catfish, perch, and striper so there is a good day of fishing to be had over on the other side too.

The all-day boats for June are just about full we do have a few spots still open and we have 3/4 and 1/2 day trips open too just call the shop to reserve your spot today.

Send your photos and questions to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we thank you.
