Friday is here. Super quiet in the shop today haven't seen anyone yet this morning. We are as ready as we can be to kick off the season this weekend. This week, the fishing has been sporadic with some quality fish hitting the beach and super slow in other areas up here. There has been some excellent fishing to the south but we remain on the slow side. There has been some slot size drum and big black drum caught with some mullet and small bluefish. We do have some decent wave action for a couple of days so a good time to wet a line. Next week we do see calm conditions along the beach for next week. The water temp today is 65 and in the last three days the pier fishing has picked up there were cobia caught around mid-day with mullet, Spanish, and trout. perch and blues so hopefully these fish are moving north and they will pay us a visit conditions are looking pretty good for next week. Charter boats have also enjoyed some very good fishing of late with fantastic cobia action, Spanish, blues, and sea bass. There are also drum and large trout in the sound side. Offshore action is red hot and the coolers are full of tuna so you will not be going home empty-handed.

News update: Customer just came in with a report and is catching large Bluefish this morning on finger mullet!! Great news could be picking up.

Charters are available call the shop for details.
